Dodoma On10 School

54 students attended this AFMIN On10 School, which was held at the St John’s University, Dodoma, the capital city in Tanzania. Many of the students were new, with only a few of the previous students returning to finish their course.  Each morning, we held 2 hour long devotions in which we discussed the subjects of “Christ in me” and “the Spirit of a Son”. During these devotions, we had some wonderful experiences as the students embraced the teachings and made them their own.

Musoma

Arriving in Musoma, we were challenged on the first day when only 12 of the expected 120 students registered for the 5 day School. Although numbers were not in our favour, this was an outstanding School.

We ministered on the orphan spirit and how to grow in the spirit of a son. Our plan of action is to continue to teach these 12 students over a period of 4 years, to the point where we can see the full-grown Christ in them.

We insert an email received from one of the Students who attended the School:

Hey Johan, hoping you are doing well and you arrived well home and you found your family in good health.
I am pastor Julius Kasomi from Musoma town in Tanzania. We still remember the ophan spirit.
We are doing fine and longing to hear from you .
May God bless you and your family
Yours in Christ, Julius Kasomi

This is not an Afmin sponsored School, so please join us as we pray for the necessary finances needed to present 2 Schools per year, so as to ensure continuous growth in their lives. We have placed a post on the Blog’s main page, regarding the challenges faced in travelling to this town.
Should the Lord lay these students on your heart and should you desire to support the School in Musoma, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Morogoro Graduation 2011

Our recent trip to Morogoro in Tanzania proved to be quite exciting. Not that our other trips are not exciting, but there was a special atmosphere as 157 students graduated after completing the 4 year AFMIN ON10 Accredited Diploma Course. In affect each student trained 10 others with the same material. This brings the amount of students being trained during the past 4 years to a staggering 1727 students!

After a week of final classes, friends and family members arrived to celebrate with the graduates. The minister of States in the Office of the President of Tanzania Steven Wasira was the guest of honour and it was obvious that he thoroughly enjoyed the proceedings.

We were also privileged to have some special guests from the United States of America. Dr Christo de Wet - CEO AFMIN was accompanied by Daniel Kenedy, Executive Director of a branding company; Lori Baily – Project Manager; David Johnson – Photographer. They came to observe what the AFMIN Schools are all about and to be instrumental in the re-branding of AFMIN. They also made a video recording to show the folks back home.

Graduation Day was enjoyed by all. Charmaine van Rensburg, one of our spiritual daughters performed a prophetic dance during the graduation ceremony. This group of men and women are enthusiastic about the ministries that the Lord has placed them in. We are thrilled by the growth we have seen in them over the past four years. Although we were sad to say good-bye, we look forward to hearing good reports about each one in the future.

Tanzania Afmin On10 School

The AFMIN On10 School was held during August 2010, in Morogoro. 185 students attended this School and are progressing well in their studies. With graduation only one year away, in August 2011, there is a renewed excitement amongst these students.

During this School, we also had the opportunity to speak to the students about Authentic Fatherhood. This was not for the first time, but rather a follow-up on the last two years teachings on this subject. Some of the students have taken this message back to their cities and villages. The outcome of this message for the people of Africa is enormous. People that have lived as an spiritual orphan for years are being set free when they discover that “He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself,…” Ephesians 3:5

Our focus with these schools are not only to train students but to equip spiritual fathers and sons.
